Bad Luck

It's snowing...again. I was thinking of all the bad luck random things that have happened to me over the years, and here are the top 2 I could think of at the moment:

1. The lady who altered Katherine Heigle's wedding dress was going to do mine. She passed away on Saturday. My condolences to her family. I'm now in search of a new emergency seamstress (not easy to come by)
2. I got stuck in the snow then hit a ditch then fell in 3 feet of snow within 1o minutes of each other. (this was just tonight...don't laugh...this is seriously not a laughing matter) at least falling didn't hurt

When it Snows

I used to hate the snow, until.....I discovered snow shoeing. I realized that when it snows life isn't so bad when you know how to enjoy it. This means snowpants, snow boots, a snow coat and something to keep your ears/head warms.

I'm going snow shoeing this weekend and I can't wait. There's no better way to get out and relax than seeing the beautiful trails in a whole new way. Plus, it's a great workout!

Global Warming...Seriously?

So, I'm seriously a little confused about all of this global warming stuff. I'm pretty sure you can't see my house under the snow, and it's been colder than I can ever think of for going on 4 weeks now. The last time I saw snow like this was in a picture of me when I lived in Wyoming, I was 2.

Fleece Sheets

Get Some!!!
I've never slept better than in my fleece (not flannel) sheets. They're so warm and cozy. I have no problem sleeping comfortably through the night. It's like sleeping on a warm sunny cloud. How have I lived without them for so long?

Vancouver Movie

So, the movie is finished!!! I think it's going to win at Sundance this year...really. There's great art in this movie, magnificant acting, and even an overly dramatized phone call by me! Anyway, it's about 10 miknutes...enjoy!!!

Still Gone

So, I had Christmas with my family, then went to Vancouver for 5 days, came home, did more wedding stuff (elope!!!) and Daniel's STILL gone!!! 2 more days!

So, I'm back now....Vancouver was a blast! I'm totally going back!

Top 5 things to do/see in Vancouver:
1. Eat at Glowbal restaurant
2. Visit the Capilano Bridge (only if you have discounted passes though)
3. Ski Whistler!!!
4. Stay at least 1 night in Squamish at the Howe Sound Inn and Brewery
5. Stanley Park
6. Eat at Glowbal restaurant - they have the best appi's (go to vancouver to know what I'm talking about)

Ok, that's more than 5. I could think of more, but just ask if you're going to go for real...I have more things to blog about!
